  • Searched multiple databases including Cochrane Clinical Trials Register, Medline, and Embase for guttate psoriasis studies.
  • Included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing different treatments, excluding antistreptococcal interventions.
  • Two reviewers independently assessed trial eligibility and quality.

  • Only one small RCT met the inclusion criteria, involving 21 hospitalized patients.
  • The trial compared intravenous n-3 fatty acid rich lipid emulsion with a placebo emulsion.
