Sensitization to Cat: When Is Nasal Challenge Needed?

A skin prick test (SPT) wheal size greater than 6.5 mm can accurately predict true cat allergy in perennial allergic rhinitis (PER) patients. This helps avoid the need for more complex cat nasal challenge tests (cNCT).
