Summary

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC), a common skin cancer, can present rarely as an adenoid variant. This report details a unique case of multiple adenoid BCCs found in uncommon body locations.

Background:

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most frequent type of skin cancer, typically affecting sun-exposed areas.
The adenoid variant of BCC is an uncommon histological subtype.
Understanding rare presentations is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Observation:

A middle-aged male patient presented with multiple instances of basal cell carcinoma.
The observed BCCs were histologically identified as the rare adenoid subtype.
These tumors were located in unusual, non-sun-exposed areas of the body.

Findings:

The case highlights the occurrence of multiple adenoid basal cell carcinomas.
The unusual anatomical distribution of these tumors was a key feature.
This presentation deviates from the typical localization of BCC.

Implications:

This case expands the known clinical spectrum of adenoid basal cell carcinoma.
