International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
|October 1, 1986
Abstract:
A case is presented where the enlargement of the tongue due to acromegaly failed to respond to bromocriptine therapy, resulting in marked dysarthria. A partial glossectomy technique for tongue reduction is described, and the surgical and anaesthetic problems associated with acromegaly are discussed.
