For MRI-negative operculoinsular epilepsy, combining morphometric analysis program (MAP), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and subtraction ictal SPECT coregistered to MRI (SISCOM) offers the highest diagnostic yield. MAP provided unique information when other noninvasive tests were inconclusive.
