Aortic Pulse Wave Velocity as a Measure of Cardiovascular Risk in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: Two-Year

This study found that patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) have higher aortic pulse wave velocity (aPWV), a measure of arterial stiffness. Over two years, arterial stiffness increased similarly in both COPD patients and healthy individuals.
