Quantifying proton density fat fraction (PDFF) aids in distinguishing liposarcomas from lipomas and atypical lipomatous tumors (ALT). However, differentiating ALT from non-classical lipomas using PDFF, fatty acid composition, or texture analysis remains challenging.
