Purpose:
We aimed to determine the posttraumatic stress levels and the factors affecting them in couples (154 women and 154 men) after a perinatal loss in Turkey.
Conclusions:
In women, an ending of the pregnancy between gestational weeks 30 and 37 and being employed reduced the posttraumatic stress level. In men, seeing the baby after birth, having no alcohol, and having high education and income levels decreased the posttraumatic stress level.
Practice Implications:
Knowledge of the factors affecting posttraumatic stress may help identify those couples in whom the probability of this disorder occurring is increased.

Spin–Spin Coupling: Two-Bond Coupling (Geminal Coupling)
The central atom need not be NMR-active because its electrons are affected by the electron polarization of the spin-active atoms. However, spin information is transmitted less effectively than in one-bond coupling, and 2J values are usually weaker than 1J values. The energy of...
Spin–Spin Coupling: Three-Bond Coupling (Vicinal Coupling)
The extent of coupling depends on the C‑C bond length, the two H‑C‑C angles, any electron-withdrawing substituents, and the dihedral angle between the involved orbitals. The...
