Ketone ester supplementation blunts overreaching symptoms during endurance training overload

Oral ketone ester (KE) intake prevents overtraining in athletes by blunting physiological symptoms and enhancing performance. This nutritional strategy may also help diagnose overtraining using growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15).
