Chitin Micro Particles Regulate Splenocytes Immune Response in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis

Chitin microparticles (CMPs) enhance immune responses by boosting Interleukin-10 (IL-10) and Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) production. CMPs support IL-10 and IFN-γ induction independently of Gata3 and Tbx21, respectively, demonstrating unique adjuvant properties.

Background:

- Chitin microparticles (CMPs) possess distinct adjuvant effects, modulating immune responses by promoting IL-10 and IFN-γ induction.
- CMPs support Gata3-independent IL-10 production and Tbx21-dependent IFN-γ induction.
- These findings clarify the immunomodulatory role of CMPs in immune stimulation.
