  • To evaluate the efficacy of the Faden procedure in correcting consecutive esotropia (ET).
  • To compare surgical outcomes between medial rectus (MR) recession with the Faden procedure and MR recession alone.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective study of 25 children with consecutive ET post-BLR recession.
  • Patients underwent either MR recession with Faden procedure (Faden group, n=10) or MR recession only (control group, n=15).
