    Area of Science:

    • Anesthesiology
    • Neurology
    • Clinical Pharmacology

    Background:

    • Methohexitone is an anesthetic agent known to potentially induce seizures in epileptic patients.
    • Chronic alcoholism is associated with neurological complications, including an increased risk of seizures.
    • The interaction between anesthetic agents and chronic alcohol consumption in non-epileptic individuals remains an area of concern.
