Time heals all wounds? A 2-year longitudinal diffusion tensor imaging study in major depressive disorder

Major depressive disorder patients show impaired white matter integrity, specifically higher mean diffusivity in frontal regions. This impairment normalized after two years, suggesting white matter recovery in major depressive disorder.
