Summary

This study found that masker characteristics significantly impact Mandarin speech recognition, with the Chinese Coordinate Response Measure (C-CRM) showing similar psychometric functions to the English version (E-CRM). The method of adaptive tracking (MAT) proved feasible for measuring speech recognition thresholds.
