  • A 49-year-old male presented with intermittent lower abdominal pain.
  • Abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed a large midline mass.
  • Diagnosis was confirmed via open surgery and pathological examination.

  • A giant PLB measuring 5.5x5.0 cm was identified and surgically removed.
  • The patient experienced an uneventful postoperative recovery.
  • Discharge occurred 7 days after surgery.

  • Prompt surgical management leads to favorable patient outcomes.
