  • To validate the Frequency of Inter-professional Collaboration Instrument and Attitudes Toward Collaboration Instrument for German general practitioners.
  • To develop an explanatory model of pharmacist-physician collaboration in German primary care.

  • Translation and administration of two validated collaboration instruments to 1438 general practitioners in Germany.
  • Utilized exploratory factor analysis to assess instrument structure and structural equation modeling to identify influencing factors.

  • Results support the integration of validated tools and the explanatory model for future research and practice improvement.
