Lenvatinib-induced thyroid abnormalities in unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma

Lenvatinib treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) frequently causes hypothyroidism and thyrotoxicosis early in treatment. Patients with lenvatinib-induced thyroid dysfunction showed better progression-free survival, indicating a need for early monitoring.
