Non-Invasive Photodynamic Therapy against -Periodontitis-causing Bacteria

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) using a novel ointment and 650 nm LED light effectively targets and eliminates bacteria in periodontitis. This non-invasive treatment significantly reduced bone loss and inflammation in rat models.
