Background:

  • Chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor (CXCR)3 and monokine induced by interferon (IFN)-γ (MIG) are implicated in inflammatory conditions.
  • Their expression is elevated in the intestinal mucosa of mice with experimental colitis and in patients with Crohn's disease (CD).

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the role of CXCR3 and MIG in the pathogenesis of CD.
  • To explore their potential as biomarkers and therapeutic targets for CD.

  • Analysis of CXCR3 and MIG expression in intestinal tissues from mice with experimental colitis and CD patients.
