The healthcare and advice clinic in Nice offers a prevention and screening consultation for migrants, with insecure rights and precarious living conditions, recently arrived in France and wishing to stay. Time, availability and the chance to open up to others help to establish the connection needed to carry out screenings and pass on prevention messages to men and women for whom this is not a priority. A volunteer nurse shares her experience of designing and setting up such a consultation, in partnership with a pulmonologist.
