[In vitro reconstruction of malignant melanoma]

It is report here that three dimensional melanocytic tumors may be reconstituted when adding collagen to the cells harvested during the under covering lattice culture of malignant melanoma explants (cutaneous metastasis). The cells issued from these rebuilt malignant melanoma may be used following the same methods. Thus, the serial making of melanocytic tumors becomes possible. The problem of the relation between cellular differentiation and invasive potential of the cells may be studied using as an original model the rebuilt tumors and the cellular population which are issued from them.
