Prostate artery embolization (PAE) effectively treated prostate cancer bleeding in four patients. While initial results were positive, some patients may require repeat treatments for sustained symptom control.

- Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) is commonly treated with Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE).

Observation:
- This study reports on four prostate cancer patients experiencing significant prostatic bleeding.
- Two patients had organ-confined disease, and two had metastatic prostate cancer.
- All other causes of hematuria were excluded prior to PAE.
Findings:
- PAE was technically successful in all four cases.
- Hematuria resolved in 100% of patients by the three-month follow-up.
- One patient experienced recurrence at 13 months, which was successfully retreated.
Implications:
- PAE is a viable option for controlling significant prostatic bleeding in prostate cancer.
- The procedure can improve patient quality of life.
- Repeated PAE sessions may be necessary for long-term bleeding management.
