- Gender-stratified analysis showed a significant association between SUA and ICAS in males (OR: 2.02), but not in females (OR: 0.85, P for interaction: 0.026).

- Elevated serum uric acid levels, indicative of hyperuricaemia, are significantly associated with an increased risk of multiterritorial vascular stenosis.
- The findings suggest SUA is a valuable predictor for vascular stenosis, particularly intracranial artery stenosis in males.
- Further research is warranted to explore the mechanisms and gender-specific implications of SUA in vascular disease progression.
