Background:

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by fibrosis.
The optimal timing for therapeutic intervention in early-stage SSc remains unclear.
Investigating early treatment effects is crucial for improving long-term patient outcomes.

Rituximab (RTX) was administered to two patients with very early SSc (within 24 months of Raynaud's phenomenon onset).
