Correlation between SEPS1 gene polymorphism and type 2 diabetes mellitus: A preliminary study

Genetic variations in the selenoprotein S gene (SEPS1) were studied in a Chinese population. Certain SEPS1 gene polymorphisms, rs34713741 and rs4975814, show potential protective and susceptibility roles in diabetic nephropathy, respectively.
