Ferumoxytol Does Not Impact Standardized Uptake Values on PET/MR Scans

Ferumoxytol contrast agent administration before positron emission tomography (PET)/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans does not alter standardized uptake values (SUV) in normal organs. This finding supports ferumoxytol use, potentially speeding up PET/MRI procedures.
