Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) shows higher accuracy than 2D-Shear Wave Elastography (2D-SWE) for detecting significant fibrosis in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. MRE aids in deciding on antiviral therapy for CHB patients with normal or mildly elevated ALT levels.
