PAPP-A concentrations change in patients with gestational diabetes

Maternal serum Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein-A (PAPP-A) levels are significantly lower in women who develop gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Free beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (fβ-hCG) levels did not show significant differences in early pregnancy.
