Background:

Acupoint herbal patching (AHP) is a common treatment for acute and chronic bronchitis symptoms.
Evidence for AHP's safety and efficacy in bronchitis management requires systematic evaluation.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically review and evaluate the safety and efficacy of Acupoint herbal patching (AHP) for treating bronchitis.
To provide evidence-based recommendations for AHP in clinical practice for bronchitis patients.

Main Methods:

Systematic review protocol adhering to PRISMA-P guidelines.
Comprehensive database searches including PubMed, Embase, CENTRAL, Web of Science, and Asian medical databases.
Inclusion of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-RCTs evaluating AHP for bronchitis.
Independent data extraction and validation by three researchers.

Main Results:

This section will present the synthesized findings from the included studies regarding AHP's safety and efficacy.
