This study investigated the presence of factor VIII procoagulant antigen (VIII:Ag) and factor VIII von Willebrand antigen (VWF:Ag) in various human organs. Findings suggest the liver is a primary storage site, but the lung and placenta may also significantly contribute to Factor VIII levels.
