Adiponectin: An Indicator for Metabolic Syndrome

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is linked to obesity, but not all obese individuals develop it. This study found lower adiponectin and higher leptin levels in metabolically unhealthy obese patients, indicating their potential as biomarkers for MetS.
