Background:

Chondrosarcoma is a rare bone cancer.
Metastatic spread of chondrosarcoma typically involves the lungs and spine.
Ocular metastasis from chondrosarcoma is exceptionally uncommon.

Observation:

A 64-year-old male with known metastatic chondrosarcoma presented with blurred vision.
Ophthalmic examination revealed a choroidal tumor.
Fine-needle biopsy confirmed the tumor as chondrosarcoma.

Findings:

This case represents the third reported instance of chondrosarcoma metastatic to the choroid.
It is the first documented case of bilateral choroidal involvement by chondrosarcoma.
Metastatic chondrosarcoma to the eye can exhibit rapid growth and is associated with a poor systemic prognosis.

Implications:

Ocular metastasis should be considered in patients with advanced chondrosarcoma presenting with visual disturbances.
Prompt diagnosis and management are crucial for potentially preserving vision.
Multidisciplinary co-management involving ophthalmology and medical oncology is essential for optimal patient outcomes.
