Platelet activation markers, including mean platelet volume, platelet distribution width, and plateletcrit, are elevated in central retinal vein occlusion patients. These findings suggest a role for subclinical platelet activation in the development of this condition.

Conclusions:
- Elevated MPV, PDW, and PCT suggest subclinical platelet activation in CRVO.
- These platelet indices may contribute to the pathogenesis of central retinal vein occlusion and could inform clinical management strategies.
