[Preoperative preparation of patients with colorectal cancer by enteral feeding using special diets]

Special alimentary mixtures used for enteral nutrition of patients with colorectal cancer allowed to considerably improve the preparation of the patient's intestine for operation, to normalize the intestinal flora. It resulted in lower incidence of postoperative complications (14.2% instead of 33.8%) and reduced lethality from 9% to 4.65%.
