Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the association between IL-25 and allergic rhinitis pathophysiology.
  • To determine the effect of intranasal steroids (INS) on IL-25 release in allergic rhinitis patients.

Main Methods:

  • Prospective, nonrandomized cohort study of 60 participants (35 allergic rhinitis, 25 controls).
  • Evaluation of IL-25 expression in nasal epithelial cells.
  • Assessment of the impact of INS treatment on IL-25 levels and nasal eosinophilia.
