Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the reliability of a novel anthropometric procedure using 3D stereophotogrammetry for periocular applications.
  • To provide evidence supporting its clinical utility.

  • Fifty-one Caucasian subjects (102 eyes) were enrolled.
  • Two sets of 3D images were captured, with measurements performed by two raters in two sessions.
  • Fifty-two periocular landmarks were identified, and 49 measurements were assessed for reliability.

  • High intrarater reliability was observed with intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) of 0.98.
  • Interrater reliability showed an ICC of 0.97, and intramethod reliability yielded an ICC of 0.96.
