Grade 3 Echocardiographic Diastolic Dysfunction Is Associated With Increased Risk of Major Adverse Cardiovascular

- Patients with grade 3 diastolic dysfunction also had more non-MACE complications (OR, 1.44; 95% CI, 1.07-1.95; P = .017).
Conclusions:
- In patients with isolated diastolic dysfunction undergoing noncardiac surgery, 10.0% experienced MACEs during hospital stay.
- Grade 3 diastolic dysfunction is a significant predictor of increased MACE risk following noncardiac surgery.
