Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) regulate gene expression and autophagy in macrophages. The metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript-1 (Malat1) lncRNA was found to regulate lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (Lamp1) expression via microRNA-23-3p.
