Regular whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) after high-intensity interval training (HIT) did not enhance physiological or performance adaptations in well-trained males. This study found no significant benefits of WBC for aerobic capacity or recovery markers.

- Regular post-exercise whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) does not appear to enhance physiological or performance adaptations to four weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIT) in well-trained males.
- Current evidence suggests WBC is not an effective strategy for augmenting HIT-induced aerobic adaptations or improving recovery markers in this population.
