Disaster risk governance in Iran: Document analysis.

• Identified key themes in disaster risk governance policy: unity of command, trustee, commitment, capacity, strategy alignment, information synergy, knowledge enhancement, sustainable security, justice, land use planning, climate adaptation, environmental reform, wisdom, diplomacy, and coherence.
• Specific themes emerged within accountability, participation, state/non-state actors, knowledge sharing, sustainable development, and integrated risk management.

Conclusions:

• Disaster good governance is enhanced by trustee, commitment, capacity, strategy alignment, and organization.
• Information synergy and knowledge enhancement are crucial for fostering a culture of prevention.
• Collective wisdom, diplomacy, and capacity coherence improve the alignment of public organizations and government in risk management.
