Background:

Chainsaw and circular-saw injuries to the maxillofacial region are infrequent but severe.
This report details the clinical and surgical management of these rare traumas.

Purpose of the Study:

To describe the characteristics of severe chainsaw and circular-saw injuries in the maxillofacial area.
To outline the clinical and surgical management strategies employed for these injuries.

Retrospective analysis of 11 patients with severe saw injuries treated between March 2016 and September 2017.
Focus on 3 representative cases detailing surgical treatment under general anesthesia.

Surgical procedures achieved good primary wound closure with no intraoperative complications.
