Summary

Odd-allotetraploid lilies (LAAA) are compatible with diploid AA lilies, showing well-developed fruits. However, LAAA is incompatible with diploid LL lilies, leading to fruit abortion due to differential gene expression impacting plant hormone regulation.

Transcriptomic Analysis of Human Retinal Surgical Specimens Using jouRNAl

We used retinal samples from retinectomy for a transcriptomic analysis of retinal detachment. We developed a procedure that allows RNA conservation between the surgical blocks and the laboratory. We standardized a protocol to purify RNA by cesium chloride ultracentrifugation to assure that the purified RNAs are suitable for microarray...

Mapping the Structure-Function Relationships of Disordered Oncogenic Transcription Factors Using Transcriptomic Analysis

Intrinsically disordered domains are important for oncogenic fusion transcription factor function. To therapeutically target these proteins, a more detailed understanding of the regulatory mechanisms employed by these domains is required. Here, we use transcriptomics to map important structural features of the intrinsically disordered EWS domain in Ewing...
