Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex hyperactivity during inhibitory control in children with ADHD in the antisaccade task

Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) exhibit response inhibition deficits. This study found hyperactivation, not hypoactivation, in the prefrontal cortex during inhibitory tasks, suggesting age-dependent maturation effects.
