Real-time motion compensation for aerial synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is essential for clear terrain imaging. Integrating Inertial Measurement System (INS)/Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation significantly improves image quality by reducing geometric distortions compared to INS-only systems.
