In-situ Tapering of Chalcogenide Fiber for Mid-infrared Supercontinuum Generation

This study introduces a novel optical microscopy technique to precisely measure nanofiber radii beyond the diffraction limit. The non-contact method achieves resolutions from a few nanometers up to 50 nm.
