Summary

Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) effectively measures peripapillary retinal vessel density (VD) to assess visual field damage in highly myopic primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) eyes. This method proves useful even with segmentation errors in optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans.
