Summary

Levels of 5-methylcytosine (m5C) and 8-oxo-deoxyguanosine (8-oxo-dG) DNA modifications correlate with glioma malignancy. Low m5C and high 8-oxo-dG indicate increased tumor grade, aiding patient monitoring.
