  • The workshop utilized five dynamic techniques: adjective, face, traffic light, true or false, and mosaic.
  • Student and professor experiences in workshop development and delivery were documented.

Findings:

  • Adolescents demonstrated knowledge construction through verbalization and engagement.
  • Increased interest was observed in adolescents sharing their leprosy knowledge within their communities.
  • The workshop successfully demystified socially constructed myths and stigmas associated with leprosy.

Implications:

  • Educational workshops are effective tools for improving adolescent understanding of leprosy.
  • Nursing students benefit from practical experience in designing and delivering health education interventions.
  • Community-based knowledge sharing can be fostered through targeted educational programs.
