Lichen Planus and Metabolic Syndrome: Is There a Relation?

Lichen planus (LP) patients show a higher prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS), diabetes mellitus, and dyslipidemia. Early detection and treatment of these conditions in LP patients can improve cardiovascular health.
