Purpose of the Study:

To investigate the impact of a specialization differentiation strategy on physicians' online economic rewards.
To identify market conditions that amplify the effects of specialization strategies.
To analyze how e-consultation platforms influence physician specialization and market dynamics.

Main Methods:

Econometric analysis of secondary physician-based data from an e-consultation website (haodf.com).
Inclusion of 1,153 physicians across four specialties (pediatrics, endocrinology, gynecology, oncology) from 2008 to 2015.
Focus on transaction data to assess online income and service prices, excluding patient economics.

A specialization differentiation strategy significantly increases physician online income (β=0.009, p<0.001) and service price (β=0.003, p<0.001).
